BlogCampKerala 2008 - Can it be in Technopark?

Blogging Gurus in kerala to conduct the first BlogCamp in kerala. Its possible to conduct at anywhere in kerala, Kochi or Trivandrum would be preferable, due to the connectivity advantages.

According to the blogcamp admin - "Technopark in Trivandrum or Infopark in Kochi may have facilities like we had in tidel park last blogcamp. however, since the whole point of having it in kerala, is to mix camping with a little bit of sunshine and open air, i would suggest the Kanakakunnu palace grounds in trivandrum or bolgatty palace hotel in kochi. i think technopark has an opne air theatre sort of thing. open air theatres in kanakakunnu are awesome!!!"

But pals, we need it to be in technopark, trivandrum. we conducted the first ever BarCamp here in technopark. ( Thanks to UST Global and CANN technologies to provide the facilities, check more details in BarCampKerala wiki ). we need more volunteers to conduct this event ( if its in trivandrum)

Pamba & periyar was the foremost buildings in technopark. and many companies like Nest, see view & case consultant are started their voyage in these buildings.

Technopark Second Phase

Technopark is planning to expand its reach in trivandrum with its second phase.This is a slightly dated layout of Phase II. The actual area acquired is 86 acres. Also, it does not seem that there will be an Technopark-owned buildings in this Phase. The entire area has been given to Infosys (50 acres) and Global(36 acres). The relative locations of the two campuses is correct with Infy in front.

Infosys is building 1-1.5 million sft of space to accomodate over 10,000 engineers in the next few years. UST Global is aim to hit an overall number of 30,000 by 2010.
